Hastingleigh and Elmsted School
In 1912 the Hovis Bread Company in Macclesfield held an Essay competition. Mr Wetherell
the schoolmaster submitted the essays written by his Students and the following letter and prize
was sent to Miss Emily Hayward in February 1913.
