The Mighty Horse Chestnut Tree

     Back in the 19th Century to commemorate the seige of Maffekin this Conker tree was planted by Alfred Southen ,
and as can been seen in the photo, it is a very prominent feature of the school playground
and is the logo for Bodsham school today.
